There is something wrong with my throat and I don't

Patient : There is something wrong with my throat and I don't know what it is... I experience completely unbearable pain whevever I swallow, it literally makes me cry. My throat is a bit swollen and red and has yellow or white lumps on it, especially on my left side, who is where most of the pain is coming from. At the start of this year I had glandular fever for about two months and my throat currently looks the same as that but when I had the glandular fever I was definitely not experiencing this pain. It's been developing for a couple of days now and it just keeps getting worse and worse and worse and its so bad now that I cannot bare it. I've tried gargling with salt water, having loads of cold foods and drinks, taking paradol and neurofen and its just still so so bad. Please tell me what to do!!!
