Three months ago my doctor prescribed me 1 mg clonazepam
Patient :Three months ago my doctor prescribed me 1 mg clonazepam to take as needed at bedtime for anxiety. I was taking them three sometimes four nights a week. My anxiety levels seemed to be getting worse so he suggested I take 1mg daily and I could take another one after twelve hours if I needed it. Well after one week of taking 1mg a day I couldn't think, feel constantly sedated, don't want to leave my house so I decided is rather love with the anxiety than feeling like crap all the time. I have started tapering off of it this past week. I cut down to .5 mg a day for the last five days and am planning on cutting that in half in a couple days. Is this taper too fast, too slow, or unnecessary? I just want to be safe.
