Patient :Three weeks ago, I got hurt in my small finger of left hand. After coming back home, I searched in Internet and found that it is a mallet finger fracture. I took an X-Ray and the report was correct. It is a fracture. I searched a lot on Internet and found that it is avulsion fracture finger. Meanwhile, I have put a splint and after two weeks I can see that my finger is straight and looks like normal one. I am currently in Mexico and studying here as an interchange student. The doctor told me that I may have to go through a surgery, but I really do not want to go through it. There are any alternate options to treat? Apart from having surgery.
