Throat infection and gastric

Patient : I'm having a throat infection. My lymph node is swollen for two weeks already and I also have all the other symptoms that accompany this swollen lymph node. Besides that I also seem to have trouble with my gastric pain that I usually don't although I'm fasting. So I'm confused whether I should drink cold water because of the tonsil I just got yesterday all of a sudden or drink hot water to avoid my stomach pain..what should I do? I went to the doctor two weeks ago and got antibiotic, pharynx tablets and gargle.
