Throbbing sensation in lower left abdomen, no pain

Patient

Q: I have a persistent throbbing sensation in my lower abdomen, left side, that appears to be related to digestion and defecation. It's not painful. It is made worse when I drink alcohol or eat certain foods. Do you have an idea of what this could be and what kind of doctor I should go see? I don't have insurance and I don't want to waste money I don't have. Thanks!
