Patient : Hi! I was lunching with a friend last week . She comes from a family that is well-known in the medical community where they all have to have brain operations for one reason or another in Brandon, Vermont. She was chattering away, when suddenly she froze, her eyes looked away from me and one of her eyelids drooped quite a lot. I thought that she was having a stroke or something, then she kept right on talking as though it had never happened. It happened several times during the lunch. My question is what the heck happened? Should she see a neurologist? It was a little scary, quite frankly! I didn't say anything, but if I need to, I will!
