Tone in ears or head

Patient

Q: For the past six months I have had a tone in my head. It is a continuous tone similar to the sound you hear when a TV is on with the volume turned off. I visited a doctor who said it was aspirin, but I have not taken any aspirins. I am supposed to have an aspirin daily for hearth health. I am currently taking Lisinopril 10 MG, Metoprolol 100MG and Metformin 500MG. I am currently without insurance and would like to avoid going to a doctor who does not resolve the problem. When I am active I dont notice the tone. When I awake in the morning it is very loud and continues during the day. Have you heard of this before
