Trouble breathing

Patient

Q: I have been congested with sinus pressure the past 3 days. I have also had achy muscles. I took an allergy pill (Zyrtec) yesterday morning and this morning. Yet, today I am having trouble taking a deep breath my respirations are shallow. My chest I wouldn't say hurts, but it feels tight. I tried to take deep breaths but it makes me cough every time I do. I do have a history of athletically induced asthma, but I haven't had to use my rescue inhaler in probably over a year. Other than that I don't have any other respiratory problems in my past. What should I do?

Symptoms:  Coughing, shallow respiration, difficulty taking a deep breath, generalized ache, sinus pressure, congestion, tight chest
