TTC after miscarriage and Mirena

Patient : I am 34 and I had my mirena removed at the beginning of march after having it for 7 months and immediately miscarried. My body spent the entire 7 months rejecting it (terrible cramps, bleeding during cycle and in between, headaches). It is now the end of July and we have not yet conceived. Is this normal? How long does it usually take to conceive? Is there something else that I may need to be concerned about?
Symptoms:  Irregular period, bleeding mid-cycle, cramping, miscarriage 5 months ago
