Patient :I'm 5'11 and my normal weight is 160 to 170. Over the past year I have dropped to 139 with no changes in diet or exercise. My family doctor has ruled out HIV and says cancer is very unlikely based on the results of a battery of blood tests. He has no answer. The weight loss continues and there's clearly something causing it. What should my next step be?
