Patient : Hello,
I am recently a bit concerned with weight loss. I am a 32 yr old male, 6'2 270 lbs. I recently was prescribed adderall and took more than was prescribed. I ate very little and didnt sleep any for 3 days and weighted in after the 3rd day at 257. I also play semi pro baseball and had taken two weeks off of baseball and rigourous working out due to a shoulder injury prior to the adderall. This past week (week after the adderral) I have eaten a lot. A lot of fast food and high fat foods. One week after the adderall I am now weighing in in the morning at 263 which is about 6-7 lbs lighter than normal with no diet change or working out. Other than the weight loss I feel fine. I am a bit of a hyperchondriac but with cancer in my family I was wondering if this should be alarming or just my body adjusting back from not working out (possible muscle loss) and taking a lot of adderall a week ago. Any help you can give me would be very much appreciated.
