Patient : I have been suffering from upper back pain (between shoulders) along with pain in right arm, right wrist and pain in both shoulders. It has progressively gotten worse over the last 6 months. In April last year I had been chopping meat when I felt a popping and tingling sensation in my right wrist. The sensation felt sort of like when your foot falls asleep. My thumb and index finger were numb for a while there. Although the majority of numbness is gone I still do feel some slight numbness in the tip of my thumb and index finger. I have had X-rays of my neck, shoulder, and wrist as well as MRI's of my t-spine, c-spine, and head. They have all come out normal. I am in constant pain everyday. I am right handed so this side is constantly in use and by the end of the day I am in excruciating pain. I have tried physical therapy, chiropractic work, acupuncture, and massage therapy. Nothing seems to help. With no underlying cause doctors can not figure out what is wrongg with me. I have not had any injuries that could have caused this. Also at night when I sleep I can't lay on my right side it is extremely uncomfortable and my arm always falls asleep. I am just looking for some answers as to what could be wrong with me. Please anything would be appreciated. Thank you.
