Upper right abdominal and back pain

Patient

Q: For about 3 weeks now i have been getting pain in my abdomen area. It isnt every day but has been about 3 times a week. It is a aching pain rather than a stabbing pain but is localised to the upper right part of my abdomen, front and back. It starts off as pain in my back, just where my last rib is and then kind of moves around so its in the front area as well. It usually wakes me up at night and has only once happen in the day at about 5pm. I usually take a few neurofen and within an hour the pain worsen (im guessing cos the pain killers kick in).It doesnt feel like back ache or muscular pain and the fact that the pain radiate round to the front as well makes me thing it isnt.
