Patient : My mother who is 56 years old never usually has nosebleeds and if they occur they usually don't last long and don't produce much blood. Last night she had a nosebleed that was gushing and gushing then she began coughing and blood came out. I was curious if there was something we could narrow this down to because she has blood pressure issues, has had strokes and mini strokes, has lupus, fibromyalgia and has had a headache behind her eye for about two weeks sometimes both eyes but the majority of the time its the left eye. I'm kind of at a loss here because she doesn't have insurance and shes on disability so we can't go to a doctor and cannot afford the hospital.
