Patient : When doing an autopsy, is it possible to test for urinary tract infection ?
My mother recently died from septic shock at the age of 86. It is not clear what the infection was. The dip stick test was negative.
Is it possible that UIT exists, the patient dies from septic shock, however the dip stick test is negative and there are no autopsy findings related to urinary tract infection ?
