Used a condom and pulled out - can I be pregnant?

Patient : Hi Doctor, I had sex with my boyfriend around the time of what I believe to be is ovulation. He was wearing a condom properly and pulled out with more than enough time to spare. It was the only time we had sex all month. I am a day late on my period and have taken 2 HPT's and they have both come out negative. One was taken yesterday and another was taken this morning. I highly doubt I have anything to worry about, I just tend to get incredibly paranoid about this. My question is, of course, could I possibly be pregnant?
