Using Raloxifene for blocking estrogen.

Patient

Q: I am a 21 year old male, and I have been struggling with enlarged breasts and fat accumulation in hips and legs since I was 13. This has caused me severe depression for many years. My doctor prescribed Raloxifene aka Evista, to decrease my sensitivity to estrogen, but I read possible side effects and they are very dangerous and possibly fatal, like blood clots. I need a second opinion and, or alternatives.

P.S. My testosterone and estrogen are at normal levels. My doctor seems to think that my body is just overly sensitive to estrogen.
