UTI negative, microscopic hematuria positive

Patient

Q: Hi, my 36 year old white female friend who often struggles with bladder infections told me that her urine culture came back negative for a bladder infection, but positive for microscopic hematuria. For weeks now she has not been herself and had been exhibiting such symptoms as detachment from people and conversations, fatigue, suppressed appetite, hot flashes, skin breakouts and hot, feverish eyes. Last week, when the usual bladder infection was assumed, her GYN prescribed antibiotics, which she said did help relieve her UTI like symptoms. My question is, do the above symptoms indicate something far more serious or specific?
