UTI treatment and prevention

Q: I've been having recurrent UTI for the past 2 months now and it happens every time after sexual contact which is usually once a week. This is my second relationship after six years. I've had 2 UTIs the first time in a span of one year. The UTI I experience is just painful urination no fever. This usually happens 1 day after intercourse. I took Ciprofloxacin every time as per a friend's(doctor) advice. I get better after 3 days of treatment. But how can I prevent it from happening over and over. I tried washing before and after, regularly drinks cranberry juice. I've read considering other positions but nothing seemed to work. I don't want to take any more antibiotics, what are other options to consider? Thanks a lot.
