Warts in the vaginal area considered STD?

Patient

Q: About 2 weeks ago, I was shaving the hair near my vagina. I went to the bathroom and I started burning near that area. Ever since then, I kept getting irritation around that area. It felt like cuts near the lip area of the vagina. I try looking in the mirror and I couldn't really see anything. I went to the clinic on campus to see what was going on. The doctor found at least 3 small warts in the vaginal area as well as yeast, however he never said that they were an std. They were removed with some acid and it was burning. If the doctors found warts near the lip of the vagina, does it automatically considered to be an STD?
