What are abnormal or potentially dangerous symptons for

Patient

Q: What are abnormal or potentially dangerous symptons for first few periods after giving birth ten months ago. What is considered around normal bleeding pain etc?

Doctor

A:   Hi,
Thanks for the query.

I understand your concern.
Usually menstrual cycle with length of 21 days to 35 days and menstrual flow for 3 to 7 days should be considered as normal only.
Menstrual flow of around 50 to 80 ml can be considered as normal.
Some amount of pain can be seen during periods but usually it will not interfere with day to day activities.
Any deviation from above factors can be considered as abnormal.

Take care
