What does this lumbar spine MRI mean? What can I do to "fix" it?

Patient : MRI Report: L4-L5: A disc bulge slightly more prominent on the left with mild left lateral recess encroachment. L5-S1: There's disc desiccation. A disc bulge with small disc herniation to right of midline. Mild right lateral recess encroachment. Impression: Asymmetric bulge on left L4-L5 with lateral recess encroachment. Disc bulge and superimposed disc herniation on the right L5-S1 with mild right lateral recess encroachment.
