When to stop birth control

Q: My husband and I have decided that at the end of May we are going to start trying for a baby. Well I have done a lot of research and have found out that it is helpful to know what your cycle length is so it is easier to track ovulation. But I cannot find the answer to one of my questions. Do I finish out the entire pack of pills and then start tracking my cycle days when I get my next period or do I stop taking my pills when I get the the Brown "Sugar Pills"? I will start taking the "sugar pills" on March 20 and will complete my pack on March 23. I am currently taking Loestrin 24 FE.

Thank you,
