Why can I not breath for over a month?

Q: Why can I not breath for over a month? Not in head or nasal, but MY CHEST/LUNGS!!! I cough all the time, can barely talk and when I do I should like a man, and terrible wheezing. If allergies...I have never had any attack like this and in only 15 minutes of my being outside when this incident occurred over a month ago. It instantly started with severe and uncontrollable coughing, then my throat and chest became WAS ON FIRE. Was this an allergy attack? I have never had asthma nor anything like this. As I try to exercise and expand my lungs often, I am finding that taking air in (inhaling) I can do, BUT exhaling is MINIMAL! DO I NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR? If so, Allergist or Pulmonary? I am healthy and on no meds. I take aspirin for headaches, if need. I did also take MINIMAL OTC meds for a few days in the beginning of this incident; like Nyquil at night and sucrets though I did not have sore throat....it was on fire!
