Patient: Hi I’m Samantha I’m 18 years old. I used to binge eat and consequently I gained a lot of weight. I’ve been trying for years now to lose the weight I gained, but with no success. I’ve significantly cut down the amount of food I eat and I eat much healthier foods. I also go to the gym for about an hour three times a week. Most of my fat is in the lower belly area. I can’t seem to shake it. My mom has thyroid disease. Could that be why I’m not losing weight? What do you reccommend I do to shed the pounds?
