Patient : A little background info on me: I am a 16 year old female, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 185 Lbs (overweight but not by a lot). When I went into the doctor for knee pain I was told that I have loose ligaments so my joints don't have the support they need. She gave me some exercises to do that were intended to to strengthen my quads and help the knee pain. I was also told by my chiropractor that I have collapsed arches in my feet making my ankles roll in and my toes point out some. This puts my knees and hips out of alignment and causes some pain. If I wear shoes with good arches support I don't have much of a problem. Then knee pain has dramatically decreased recently, but in the last few months (maybe a little longer) my right knee has started randomly giving out on me. It's never painful, and it's kinda hard to explain but my knee will just bend while I put weight on it to take a step. I recently started at a new job (September 22nd). I work at a vet clinic caring for boarding dogs. I do a LOT of walking for this. I'm not sure if it's related or not, but I thought it would be good to let you know. Do you have any ideas on what it could be? I do plan on seeing a doctor at some point if it persists but since it's not causing pain I'm not overly worried. Thanks for reading!!
