Patient :Ever since I started school in the beginning of August, I have been extremely tired. Usually during the night, I get 8 or 9 hours of sleep. Sometimes during those nights I remember waking up a few times in the middle of the night suddenly. A few times, I havent been able to sleep during the night at all. I will go to bed at 8 and stay awake trying to sleep for hours. When I finally do fall asleep, it is a very light sleep and I wake up every few hours. That happened last night. I am SO exhausted now. I have been feeling very exhausted. Usually, I feel fine when I wake up, but then by the afternoon, I feel drowsy and I start to feel out of it. I can’t remember if this happened in the summer when I was not in school. I don’t think it happened as often as it is now. Last year, I would feel this way maybe twice a week for a long time. I have ADD and depression. I take Wellbutrin and Vyvanse. I am going to be 18 this month. My mom says I am a hyperchondriac, but I am just worried. Also, I am not sure if this has anything to do with it, but my arms and legs will starts to tremble sometimes and I will feel dizzy. When I went to the doctor about 6 months ago, they said it probably was just from anxiety. What should I do? Some people I have asked say it might be because I am growing (I am on 4’9) and others say maybe because I have no been eating right. I am adopted so I have no family medical records. Am I panicking for no reason? Should I get it checked out?
