Why is my knee hurting

Patient : Why is the backside of my knee hurting
Symptoms:  Sharp pain
Doctor :   Knee pain is seen in many conditions. It could be due to trauma or injury, infections, age related osteoarthritis, rheum atoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylosis, cancers , etc. A x-ray must be done along with physical examination to find the exact cause of pain. Consult an orthopedician for further management.
