Why is the lower left part of my stomach hurt?

Patient

Q: Why is the lower left part of my stomach hurt? The best way to describe it is like a sharp object poking into something . I have to grab the part of my stomach and locate where the pain is at then rub it, but it only helps a little bit. I don't think I'm constipated because I recently used the bathroom.

Symptoms:  When I move my stomach it makes a rubbing noise and other noises and feels uncomfortable. I haven't drunk anything for it to do that.
