Patient :Hi! I am a 16 year old female, 112 pounds, 5 ft. 4 in. I had an eating disorder when I was 13 specifically being anorexia nervosa. I've been doing a lot better by gaining weight and working out since then. However, I continue to count calories and worry about what I eat. My doctor said I should just aim for a healthy and balanced diet instead. I see all of my friends eat what they want and I want to eat what I want, such as peanut butter, ice cream, ext, but I don't because I am afraid of gaining weight so I continue to count calories. Any suggestions? What should I do?
