Would this diet work/be healthy?

Patient: Hi, I’m a 16 year old female, no health problems. I’m average weight, 5″6. I want to lose weight by dieting (and the obvious exersize). Would this diet work? If I only ate one type of fruit or vegetable per day, then the next day I would change that fruit or vegetable, and so on? I would obviously, occasionally, eat other food groups (minimally) but mainly go by that plan because I have a REALLY hard time sticking to diets if they require a lot of foods in them.
